Kurt V. was one of my favorite authors too, Welcome to the Monkey House was so good.
Hey I recognized that little doll, I thought that maybe I was imagining it. Karen Black was fine in that story, it was good and scary as well. I had nightmares about that ugly doll.

I guess since Richard Matheson wrote the story “Prey" in Trilogy of Terror (1975) and his son Richard Christian Matheson wrote the segment "Battleground") for "Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King" (2006) I guess it was a tribute to his father. What do you think?
I’m reading I Am Legend by Richard Matheson now because of the podcast I did with Aaron on the Last Man on Earth. Can’t wait for the movie I Am Legend coming out this year.
