I watched the movie via youtube in it's hour long version and not having any knowledge of the movie I have to admit then ending left me a little bewildered/surprised and I am not sure if that was a good thing or not.

Great episode! Todd Browning was one strange guy but brilliant. The ending is a little weak but it sure started out with bang. More of a mystery than a vamp film it seems to me. So glad that you are back Vincent! Good to see some more folks on the stopping by here as well.

Thanks for writing. Yes I love Tod. I pick that movie because I never saw it. Not my favorite Browning film but I liked it. If you haven’t seen any of his silents with Lon Chaney check them out. I want to do more podcasts but I been so busy. More to come.

I was amazed last night to see the movie on TCM (in the UK) I DVR'd it and considering the age of the movie the master they had access to was pretty good quality.
